  • HEP Crowder College:  High School Equivalency Program.  This program provides economic assistance, GED preparation/classroom instruction/GED in Spanish, housing for those in residential program, tutorial assistance, academic and vocational counseling, career advisement, and post HEP assistance.  Those qualified to receive this service are migrant or seasonally employed agricultural workers or his or her child who meets specified criteria.  For more information call (417)455-5425 or log on to www.hepcamp.org  
     
  • Franklin Technical Center:  Through the Skills USA Program (FTC) offers - Air Conditioning, Refrigeration and Heating Technology, Automotive Technology, Collision Repair, Computer Networking, Culinary Arts 1&2, Drafting, Graphic Design and Printing, Health Science 1&2, Machine Tool Technology, Nursing Options, TV & Video Production, and Welding.  For more information on these programs call (417)625-5260.

    Transitional Housing for Families Through Economic Security Corporation:  This is a service for families, whom for whatever reason, find themselves homeless.  Eligible families must be homeless, meet the income guidelines, must have children, must be willing to work full time or go to school full time, and must be willing to work with ESC staff.  Services include reduced rent, safe and secure facilities, furnished apartment or house, budget counseling, educational or employment counseling, and facilitation of assistance for day care, transportation, clothing, food, mental health, and support groups.  For more information please call, Economic Security Corporation at (417)781-0352.
