This program provides economic assistance, GED preparation/classroom instruction/GED in Spanish, housing for those in residential program, tutorial assistance, academic and vocational counseling, career advisement, and post HEP assistance. Please Note: The following apartments have low income guidlines and require an application process. References are required. Waiting lists exist and openings are based upon list placement and application approval.
Transitional Housing for Families Through Economic Security Corporation: This is a service for families, whom for whatever reason, find themselves homeless. Eligible families must be homeless, meet the income guidelines, must have children, must be willing to work full time or go to school full time, and must be willing to work with ESC staff. Services include reduced rent, safe and secure facilities, furnished apartment or house, budget counseling, educational or employment counseling, and facilitation of assistance for day care, transportation, clothing, food, mental health, and support groups.
